Cookie Dough Balls

I love cookie dough, but its not that healthy. So I looked into making paleo cookie dough balls and voila yummy scrummy balls! Just remember these sweet treats are not for everyday eating. They are for the odd treat! 


Ingredients:
3 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp coconut milk 
3/4 tsp vanilla essence 
1 tbsp honey
96 grams coconut or almond flour
chocolate chips 




Method:
Melt the coconut oil, honey and vanilla essence in the microwave. Add in the milk and mix well, let cool slightly then add in the flour, stirring gently. Mix in the chocolate chips and place the mixture into the fridge for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes roll the dough into bite size balls. 

For the chocolate dip I made my own nutella style mix using a hazelnut butter and the reaming chocolate chips. I just melted it all together, dipped in the balls and refrigerated.
